The blog tour has now come to an end.  This is a bittersweet moment.  I truly did enjoy being on the tour, but it was also a lot of work.  More than I thought it would be. 😛   I got 2 new reviews, answered some interview questions, and learned some new things about myself and how blog tours work.

Some lessons I learned:

• Don’t try to do too many things at the same time.  In other words, wait until the initial marketing rush is finished.
• Have all guest posts written up at least a week ahead of time.
• Remind people of their commitment to host you at least a week before as well as a couple of days before they are scheduled.
• Always have a back up plan just in case someone doesn’t work out.
• Don’t be uptight about what time each post goes live.  It all works out just fine in the end.
• BE FLEXIBLE.  This one is huge!  If you are not flexible, your blog tour will be super stressful since you are relying on so many other people’s busy schedules and lives.
