The Update
For those of you who may be curious about my next books, I am currently editing “Be Thou My Vision” and writing “Amazing Grace”. By the end of this week, I will be sending “Be Thou My Vision” to 7-10 beta-readers to dissect and take it apart for me so I can put it back together in a more readable and accurate fashion. Also, my lovely book cover creator is going to be working on the book cover in the next month or less.
As for where “Amazing Grace” is, I am working on solidifying a logline which I will post on the “Works in Progress” page when I have it ready. I also started writing it and basically have two chapters written so far and hope to get a couple more chapters written this week.

Faith, I believe that modesty applies to both men and women, that both genders have been given our bodies by God not to display for the purpose of arousing others, or to show off, as is so common in our culture, but the body is a gift to the spouse of a man or a woman. It is true that men are more visually oriented as a general rule than women are, so in some cases female modesty may seem more important. But I believe very much modesty is a standard men should hold to as well. When I read what the Bible says about the sons of Noah seeing his nakedness, I realize that even showing nudity between members of the same gender is not considered normal from a Biblical point of view–culturally we get the idea it IS normal ultimately from the Romans and Greeks, cultures who were not devoted to God. I of course in military contexts changed clothes around other men changing clothes, but I in fact attempted to avoid such situations whenever possible by getting up earlier than most people. I wear long pants even in the summer–I don’t bare my chest even when working. When running or swimming I’ll wear shorts, but only then, and even when swimming I prefer to wear a t-shirt.
