Cover Reveal: Rock of Ages (and a release date announcement)

Good morning!

I have two exciting announcements today!

#1: Cover Reveal

Yesterday, I revealed my book cover on Social Media. It was with a twist, because authors are twisted. *ahem* Also, I may have found a way to torture my husband. I’ll get into that in a minute.

The twist to this cover reveal is that in order to see the cover, you need to put together a jigsaw puzzle. I did it in 3:02, but I had an advantage since I knew what the cover looked like. You can do the jigsaw puzzle here.

As for how to torture my husband, that would be by asking if he could beat his sister’s time and sitting him in front of the computer. He doesn’t like jigsaw puzzles and I also forgot to tell him the title of the book. Oops… Anyway, it took him 13:49 to put the puzzle together, so no matter how long it takes you, don’t worry about it. 😀

#2: Release Date

I also have a release date for the book! Rock of Ages will be released on…

April 26, 2019!

I also have a rough draft of a description. This may stay as is and may change. I haven’t decided yet. Feel free to make suggestions in the comments or in an email.

All he wanted was his father’s approval

Chileab is born to privilege as the second-born of King David, but he still feels like an outcast. His crooked foot make it hard for him to do anything and although he enjoys being an advisor for his abba, he never feels like King David approves of him.

Born with unnaturally light hair, Rina loves helping her mother heal people around their small village. One day, her life is turned upside down when she is kidnapped by two Amalekites bent on using her for her healing powers to make them rich.

When Chileab hears of the little girl who had been kidnapped, he goes off to find her, even though five years have passed.  He makes his way into the desert by himself. Can he find Rina? Will he learn that Adonai’s approval is all he needs? Will he learn to rely on more than just himself?

A Rapunzel reimagining set during the time of King David.

What do you think of the cover? How long did it take you to do the jigsaw puzzle? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I think the cover of your book is appropriate for setting and time of the story. It is also intriguing as all your books that are set in Old Testament times.
I didn’t do so well on the time of the puzzle. It was over 5 minutes.
