Book Review: Red Rover, Red Rover by Perry Elisabeth Kirkpatrick

Title: Red Rover, Red Rover
Written By: Perry Elisabeth Kirkpatrick
Genre: Mystery
Recommended Ages: 13 & up

I read this story chapter by chapter as the author released them. It was quirky, fun, and I loved the spy elements!

Characters: 1/1

Emily and Nighthawk are perfect together! Their personalities are hilarious and their interactions are fun to read. I can’t wait to read more about each of them!

Dialogue: 1/1

The dialogue is perfect in this story. There is serious conversation as well as humorous dialogue. Best of all, it seemed realistic, too.

Plot/storyline: 1/1

The plot is cohesive, but you can also tell the author intended to make this book part of a larger series without making it with a cliffhanger.

Overall writing quality: 1/1

I don’t remember any grammatical errors or typos. Overall, the writing quality was well done.

Un-put-down-ability: 1/1

Since the author only released one book at a time, I had no choice but to put it down. I really didn’t want to, however. I wanted to read the whole thing in one sitting.

Conclusion: 5/5

This is a wonderful short story that is really easy to read. It is engaging and fun, but still has some serious points in it. I highly recommend it.

Note: I received a free eBook from the author. I was not required to do a book review, positive or negative.
