Amanda Tero began her love for words at a young age—reading anything she could get her hands on and penning short stories as young as age eight. Since graduation, she has honed her writing skills by dedicated practice and study of the writing craft. She began her journey of publication with a few short stories that she had written for her sisters and continued to add to her collection with other short stories, novellas, and novels. It is her utmost desire to write that which not only pleases her Lord and Savior, but also draws the reader into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Book Review

I have read and watched many variations of the Robin Hood tale. My favorite movie is the old animated Disney version and my favorite series is the one by Stephen Lawhead. But my favorite individual book about Robin Hood is Amanda’s version, Protecting the Poor. Her unique spin on the classic tale was well written when memorable characters. I have read all of the books in her Tales of Faith series and loved seeing all of the storylines wrap up so smoothly by the end of this novella.

I loved Dumphey and respect him for how well he handled everything that happened in his life in this book. This poor young man goes through so many changes. I don’t know if I would be able to handle it as well as he did. But I also thought that the way he reacted, both the good and bad reactions, were realistic for his personality.

I look forward to reading more from Amanda in the future!
